Call me crazy but Wednesday I decided to pack a bag or two and hop on the road Friday morning and head toward Atlanta, Georgia for the Fourth of July weekend. I have a friend who recently moved to the city and had a open door for me to crash. Hey.. Why not. After a 5 1/2 hour drive of just, me the road, and cruise control, I was pooped. When I arrived I immediately crashed. But I knew when I woke up I wanted to see fireworks. We decided to go to Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park and even though the music sucked.. Yea I said it.. the firework display made up for it. True crowd pleaser! Even though we were stuck in tons of traffic afterward I enjoyed the light show. Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays because it reminds that anything is possible in life. Living in America with so many cultures, diversity, and freedom is truly a privilege we take for granted.
As far as my look is concerned I mentioned a few Youtube videos ago I had snagged this holiday appropriate shirt from the thrift store. I intended to wear it.. well on, but around the waist just seemed to work out better. I am sort of falling in love with the idea of wearing all white for no reason, and vintage again. Could I be on to something? Hmmm.
How did you celebrate your Fourth of July?
Making my dreams come true,
