My First Ipsy Glam Bag: "The Look Of Love"

Okay, Okay... I know some of you are wondering what the heck is an Ipsy Glam Bag!? Wonder no more I am here to solve that for you. A little background on why. I have heard of monthly subscriptions to receive boxes of things. For example, they have curl boxes for natural hair. I am not that into products for my hair so that has never interested me. However, I have become more interested in experimenting with beauty products. I decided to do research on "beauty boxes" and came up with a few results. Most of them give samples in your monthly subscription. I honestly wanted to get the bang for my buck, if I was going to be paying a fee every month. I decided to go to my under cover beauty Godmother Deborah. She runs a beauty blog called and this girl KNOWS make up. If you ever have any questions about a beauty products or want to know all the hot items to have in your beauty stash this is your girl, follow her blog!! Long story short she recommend I try the Ipsy Glam Bag.
You receive 5 whole beauty products (not samples) in a makeup bag every month for a  fee of $10. I singed up in January and was placed on a waiting list. I was able to bypass it by simply sharing my sign up via Facebook. Easy! This weekend my bag arrived and I cant be more excited! Every month has a theme this month is "The Look Of Love" Here is what I got:

(listed from left to right)
1. Jesse 9 Pan Shadow Compact "Brown Eyed Girl" $3.99
2. Zoya Nail polish "Odette" $9.00
3. Pop Beauty Plump Pout Lip Gloss in Fuchsia $16.99
4. J Cat's Beauty Eyelashes $3.99
5. Dr Lin Skincare Acne Spot Corrector $8.99
Total retail value: $42.96

To receive $43.00 worth of products for ten bucks... you just can't beat it! The Plump Pout lip gloss excited me the most. I wore it Saturday as soon as I opened my package! I am excited about the acne spot corrector as well I help clear up blemishes I currently have. Ipsy is a great program that allows you to experiment with different beauty products and build your collection of little trinkets. The cool thing about this program is that if you like what they send you, they give you a 25% discount when you want to re-order any of the items sent in your glam bag for the month. They also have a points program that allow you to get points to earn free products! I can't WAIT for my March glam bag to see what's in store! Signing up is fairly easy! You can click here they will give you a brief quiz asking questions about your beauty preferences, skin type, and complexion. That's it! I warn you now this is a highly sought after membership, there will be a waiting list, hopefully they still have the option to skip it if you're lucky.

Do you have an Ipsy Glam Bag Subscription? If you don't would you subscribe?

Making my dreams come true,
