Slow and Steady Wins The Race......

*story time music plays* Today I want to tell you all the story of  The Tortoise and The Hair

The Tortoise and The Hare
There once was a speedy hare who bragged about how fast he could run. Tired of hearing him boast, Slow and Steady, the tortoise, challenged him to a race. All the animals in the forest gathered to watch.
Hare ran down the road for a while and then and paused to rest. He looked back at Slow and Steady and cried out, "How do you expect to win this race when you are walking along at your slow, slow pace?"
Hare stretched himself out alongside the road and fell asleep, thinking, "There is plenty of time to relax."
Slow and Steady walked and walked. He never, ever stopped until he came to the finish line.
The animals who were watching cheered so loudly for Tortoise, they woke up Hare.
Hare stretched and yawned and began to run again, but it was too late. Tortoise was over the line.
After that, Hare always reminded himself, "Don't brag about your lightning pace, for Slow and Steady won the race!"

Now that story time is over. Can you think of the extreme symbolics of this story? Millions of  people (myself included) have dreams and things they want to do. Some of these people will become so gassed up on themselves thinking they can't be touched and take the quick route. They become lazy and do things the wrong way. Sometimes this can be non moral, cause a loss of respect, and or illegal. Sometimes all three. Thinking they can win by just doing things the fast way. Ultimately they end up losing in the end. Yes you made a few dollars and made it appear you're living your dream, but it's not built on a strong foundation. It's all a lie. For all you "new comers" to your dream chase or whatever it may be. Do things the right way... Be progressive and still take your time. Meaning do what you can do when you can as steady as YOU can. Things happen when they are meant to happen and how they are meant to happen. Even when you're tired and or discouraged, keep going. Whether it's finishing school, a new business venture, or a goal. Don't worry about how fast the next person is progressing because you don't know what they are doing to get there. Just do you.. and you will win "your" race.

Are you the tortoise or the hare?

Making my dreams come true,
